MSHA Training

mine safety handbook

The Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) requires all miners and other contractors who work at surface mines to abide by the rules of MSHA Part 46 and take a mine safety training course. And after their first year, they must take an annual MSHA training refresher course as well.

Our online Surface Miner Training course is designed to help new miners learn safety and protective measures when working in mines.

For those who have already completed the MSHA's new miner safety training, our online MSHA Refresher course satisfies annual MSHA certification requirements.

If you need just a basic overview of mining safety regulations, our MSHA Surface Miner Training course provides information on mining safety, including why the MSHA was formed and what its purpose is today.
