As a minimum requirement to perform final visual inspection, air monitoring, or asbestos spill delineation, the 32 hour initial asbestos air monitoring certificate is the ideal solution for anyone looking to start or advance their career in the asbestos consulting industry. This course will explore inspection and air collection/analysis activities in all areas of public, commercial, private, industrial, educational, governmental, and residential buildings/sites and give information on how to properly place and collect air samples as part of the abatement process. This course will prepare the student for a variety of jobs in asbestos consultation and for the Colorado state-administered certification exam. With this certification, the student will be qualified to apply for a position as an asbestos inspector at leading asbestos consulting firms across the US, including US – regulated territories and military sites.
