As a minimum requirement for the performance of asbestos abatement activities, the initial asbestos worker certificate is the ideal solution for anyone looking to start their career in the asbestos industry. This course will instruct the student on abatement in all areas of public, commercial, private, industrial, educational, governmental, and residential buildings/sites and give information on how to properly remove asbestos containing building materials (ACBMs) and asbestos containing materials (ACMs) under the oversight of an asbestos abatement supervisor. With this certification, the student will be eligible for entry-level asbestos abatement worker/handler jobs.
