As a minimum requirement for the oversight and supervision of asbestos abatement projects, the 40 hour initial asbestos contractor/supervisor certificate is the ideal solution for anyone looking to advance or start their career in the asbestos industry. This course will explore abatement in all areas of public, commercial, private, industrial, educational, governmental, and residential buildings/sites and give information on how to properly identify and remove asbestos containing building materials (ACBMs) and asbestos containing materials (ACMs). This course will prepare the student for a variety of jobs in asbestos abatement and for the state-administered certification exam (dependent on state regulations). With this certification, the student will be qualified to apply for a position as an asbestos abatement supervisor at leading general abatement contracting firms across the US, including US – regulated territories and military sites.
