This is the required annual refresher for the project design and oversight of asbestos abatement and removal projects.

As a minimum requirement for the design of asbestos abatement projects, the 24 hour initial asbestos project designer certificate is the ideal solution for anyone looking to advance or start their career in the asbestos industry. This course will explore containment design and abatement in all areas of public, commercial, private, industrial, educational, governmental, and residential buildings/sites and give information on how to design contaminants to aimed to aid in the proper removal asbestos containing building materials (ACBMs) and asbestos containing materials (ACMs) by a general abatement contractor. This course will prepare the student for a variety of jobs in asbestos management and for the state-administered certification exam (dependent on state regulations). With this certification, the student will be qualified to apply for a position as an asbestos abatement project designer (Estimator/Project Manager) at leading general abatement contracting firms across the US, including US – regulated territories and military sites.
